Message from your Humanist Minister

After receiving my bachelor's degree in an individualized program at New York University, I completed sixty credits in the sociology doctoral program at CUNY's Graduate Center and taught urban sociology courses for five years.  Although I loved teaching and sociology in general, a change of heart led to the origins of this organization.  I am now a member of the American Humanist Association and learning more and more about Humanism through personal experiences and new courses of formal study.

Even after officiating at well over one hundred ceremonies, I remained inspired by the wonderful people I meet.  Whether you plan to have a civil, intercultural, or personalized ceremony, I will help you to create a memorable and meaningful ceremony to capture a day you will cherish always.

Any ceremony may be held in our office or in a local community park in Kew Gardens, Queens.  Most often, however, I travel to you!  I have officiated at various public parks, community gardens, formal gardens, hotels, restaurants, churches, and reception halls.  As this New York Times announcement attests, I even officiate at ceremonies in private homes.

Please feel free to call me at 347-248-6294 or e-mail HumanistChapel@gmail.com anytime.

Very truly yours,
